Celtic Football Club Closed the season with a fine 3-1 win against Dundee utd on sunday afternoon…goals from stokes,Commons and samaras sealed a fine win…on trophy day …the afternoon was one of both celebration and off sadness as the celtic family joined in a rendition of you’ll never walk alone on the 5 min mark to remember little oscar Knox who had lost his battle with cancer a few days earlier….there wasent a dry eye in the stadium and it was fitting that a small but wonderful tribute was payed to wee oscar…….
3 in a row and can anyone really say celtic wont go on yr after yr and dominate the Scottish game,with the departure of hearts to the championship and the chance that if Hibernian lose a play off we shall lose both Edinburgh clubs ….the prizes should keep coming to the east end of Glasgow,this really is a great time to be a celtic fan,sevco are about to play their first season in the championship against full-time pro’s and the challenge ahead for them will be very tough….
Theres been occasions this season where celtic have played some wonderful football …and Chris commons scored some fine goals along the way…stokes and Griffith have formed a decent partnership and this should be allowed to flourish in the 2014-15 season…..
There will of course be some departures which is inevitable end of season …and samaras is the only one confirmed so far on the playing side of things,Johan myallby service has ended as well on the coaching side and the big swede is off for new ventures ,we have to wish both of them well …having served the club for a number of yrs ….
Its been a long season and before we know it we will be back to start again with champions league qualifiers,it’s a pity we have to go through 3 to get in …..well done to big Fraser Forster making the world cup squad for england ..its well deserved after the season the great walls had …
4 players have been stand-outs all season right through the spine of the team, Forster-van dyk,-brown and- commons,all have played most of the games and all have performed really well,if the vultures can be scattered we can start the 2014-15 season as strong as we finished this season…
As well as on the pitch, off the field the club has improved its …………facilitys…………..in and around the stadium the results are marvelous a new walkway to paradise..has transformed the main route to the south stand…the new wi-fi facility has been a Hugh hit as well …..
