After the debacle that was the Ronny Deila era, the Celtic board listened to the fans and went out and got the man that everyone wanted. The sheer number of people who flooded to Paradise to see the new manager being unveiled shows exactly what a popular appointment he was.

At this point there still hasn’t been a competitive ball kicked under the ‘Rodgers Revolution’ but it’s two pieces of transfer activity which have the Celtic fans sitting up and taking notice.

The first bit of business was the acquisition of Moussa Dembele from Fulham. The young Frenchman is every bit the proverbial “hot prospect”. Capped at every level up to under 20s for France as well as a goal laden last season for Fulham led to many big name teams in England as well as across Europe chasing his signature which makes the signing all the more impressive.
