A mighty impressive display by the celts Friday evening saw them move 6 points clear of Aberdeen , now having played the same amount of games , a brilliant brace from Leigh griffiths scoring his 50 and 51 st goals for the club was in particular a highlight , on a night where Celtic produced some of there best football this season kris commons scored a absoloute peach of a goal as well with a mid air side scissor kick a thing of beauty…
Yes Celtic looked every bit champions , Dundee Utd look a team in big trouble but in spite of there defensive frailtys midfield to attack is pretty decent , Simunovic chipped in with a nice headed goal on Friday night to and 4 goals away from home is decent…
The club have a few home ties to look forward to now with Hamilton on Tuesday night and st Johnstone nxt sat , Alough home advantage doesn’t seem to matter much these days it will be good to play on parkheads wide open pitch , the squad looked up for it on Friday night and with the new year starting positively lets hope for yet more wins in the cup competitions..
in Leigh griffiths we have a striker we can rely on to score goals , we’ve not really had that since Larsson , scott brown should be back in a few weeks for the run in and will boost our midfield , in young players like Tierney and mcgreggor, Rogic and Biton we have some exciting talent , scott Allen is also getting game time , Johansen is slowly getting back to his best as well , and the manager is in the market for a few new faces…
